Well, since we’re on a Sorkin kick here at Many Hats, I guess I might as well dig up something *super* embarrassing.
Summer 2007, I went on a writing spree. I made a few radio plays, finished a (admittedly, in retrospect, terrible) 20,000-word fantasy origin myth, and spun out a whole slew of songs, some of which I’ve been going through this past year and putting music to.
This was also the summer I watched Sports Night.
Sooooo… in addition to the aforementioned, I might have penned a Sports Night spec script.
Maybe.
Anyway, the hypothetical script is pretty terrible. (“Pacing? Humor? What kind of silly concepts are those?”) But while waiting for a friend at work, I drew Natalie from one of the scenes. And so, to accompany it, a small excerpt from that scene is now on Wordcetera. (It’s pretty much the only part of the script that doesn’t reek.) Maybe I’ll post the entire scene if I feel so bold.
Or maybe I’ll stop talking about Sorkin shows every chance I get and go enjoy some bit-pixel music.
