And now, for something completely different. This is a two-minute excerpt “The Girl with the Argyle Scarf,” from one of the radio plays I directed/acted/produced/recorded back in 2007. (For you iPad users whom Tumblr hates, here’s a direct link.)

Premise: Two petty thieves get their hands on a time-travel device in the form of a VCR and use it to go back in time to rob a bank.

It was pretty silly. But a ton of fun to put together.

The writer and I had also planned to make it into a 12-part public access half-hour show in 2008, but we only ever recorded the pilot. (Ah, time constraints. We always had ten or twelve projects going at any given time, anyhow.)

The trailer for this madness (shot in good old downtown Northampton, MA) is actually up on YouTube, which I’ll link. Note the really awesome aforementioned 14-foot argyle scarf. I knitted that thing in a month.

Proudest knitting accomplishment ever—though sadly, someone stole it later that summer from my bag.
